I was hoping to actually work to win over human sims but nah, they aren’t scared of me. I wish it was like the aliens in the game when they’re in their true form, they cause alarm to strangers. It seems like the sims are only put off by vampires when they are feeding. Plasma is life but I’m sure there are things like plasma stew or plasma sandwich, I don’t know.
Also, I thought it’d be cool to go out with my vampire family and eat but there are no vampire options? Look, I get it. It’d be cool to have a secret vampires-only lair in the game. Of course you can build a club and put the lot trait that attracts vampires but tbh, that trait only works every other night.

I thought it would be cool if the game had vampire exclusive hangouts or clubs, like in the movie blade, where you can socialize with different vampires. No vampire exclusive places? No vampire dining options? I cant even. Like, being able to detect a sims personality? Pretty cool and new and handy. Don’t get me wrong, moving as a bat is cool and convenient but, you can also move in mist form so, what’s the difference? the animation? I didn’t pay to see different animations, I want different gameplay. But the powers like traveling as a bat and making sims talk to themselves are stupid. You can make someone talk to themselves? really? that’s a power? Did you guys run out of ideas? Some of the powers were pretty cool, such as being more charming or having the ability to let yourself into any home. I really hope the sims team take this all into consideration when creating their next game pack. With vampires, everything changes and there are so many more new things to do and focus on. Sure you could roast a marshmallow and play some games but it doesn’t really change the game or make a difference in your sims lives. Want to go take a trip to the woods? fun! sleep under the stars but oh wait, you can literally do that at home. You know what else you can do? place a hot tub in your backyard and call it a day. The game packs previously released for sims 4 were for a lack of a better word, pointless and lacking. I’m not gonna talk too much about it but, trust me. appreciate me.) I love how creepy (or perfect) we cam make our blood sucking little creatures. This game pack really took it to another level, with the hairstyles and outfits being to die for (another pun. This pack gives your sims more reason to link up with other vampires, and their new aspirations really make the gameplay interesting. These things make for a better story and for a lot more thought when it comes to doing certain things. Sun burns more? you are highly restricted when its day time. Sloppy drinker? You’ll have to feed more often. Do you hiss in social situations? prepare to be embarrassed a lot more often. Your weaknesses make for a different experience with each vampire. You cant go out in the day much, so you’re limited to stay indoors (unless you have a power that grants you sun immunity) which means you spend the day either resting or reading up on vampire lore, and nighttime to go out, feed, have fun, etc. Its not just, wake up, eat, go to work, come back, de-stress, sleep. These are the things that give you a different route to take in this game. Powers, weaknesses, different priorities. Your vampire will have needs different from regular sims, powers, and weaknesses as well.
It brings new vamp themed items to build and buy, while also including three new lot traits (all relating to vampires) three new sub-aspirations.

In short, the pack brings a few hairstyles, outfits, tops, pants, accessories and many facial features to choose from, including cracks on the skin and even different skin colors, to give your vampire that really dead look. Like, it’s a pun) and get into all the great things about this pack and the few things that could’ve been improved. I actually want to talk about the new vampires game pack, a game pack that changes how you play and has a lot to offer, being fair for its price for the first time ever.
Now, this isn’t a post about bashing one of my favorite gaming series. while sims 4 succeeds in graphics and the ability to run better, it seems to fail in keeping things new, fresh and entertaining. However, sims 4 has been sort of a let down in the gaming community, being labeled as subpar and just not as good as its predecessor, sims 3.

I’m personally a big fan of the sims series It was a way to live out things in a game that I could never do in real life, or live out stories right in front of me.
